This August, Ron Nordman is lacing up his boots and taking on a 14,440-foot summit — not just as a personal milestone, but as an act of solidarity. After a series of physical challenges, Ron is healing and ready to embark on a challenge to summit Mt. Elbert. The journey to this climb isn't only physical — it is deeply emotional as well. After the loss of loved ones, Ron has been navigating a season of grief that can sometimes feel almost overwhelming. This climb symbolizes a journey of healing on multiple levels. He wants to take a season of brokenness and make it meaningful.

Ron and his wife, Fontaine, have walked alongside Ziva Network for several years, supporting survivors of human trafficking on their own steep and courageous climb — toward healing, wholeness, and hope. He knows that kind of journey isn't quick or easy. It requires showing up every day, even when the summit feels impossibly far. That's exactly what survivors do. And that's exactly what he's doing too.
